Did you know that 1,300 men will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the USA this year?

THE BRANCATELLI FILE

Dear JoeSentMe members:
Good morning! Here are the links to the news, deals, columns and blogs that have just posted at JoeSentMe, the noncommercial website for business travelers that you help support.
It is a very busy week, so much so that I'm not even fooling around in The Brancatelli File, which is chockablock with news. Meanwhile, Chris Barnett covers the controversy surrounding the first-ever Michelin guide to Bay Area dining. David Rowell has some thoughts about the increasing irrelevance of international first-class travel. On the flip side, Will Allen is stuck in coach on American Eagle, where he can't even get a blanket. Ted Carter has a startling conclusion about life after the coup in Bangkok. Kathy McCabe is updating the good life in Italy. There are a horde of new discount offers on the Steals & Deals page and lots more news in Tactical Traveler. And Charlene Baumbich wraps it all up with a few traveling laughs, not to mention a salute to a Carole King classic. All the links are below, of course, or simply log in to the members-only home page.

Before we part company this week, many of you probably know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My mother and grandmother were both victims. One of my sisters is a survivor. And breast cancer touches the JoeSentMe family, too. One of our members, Julia Chiappetta, is self-financing a book called Breast Cancer-the notebook. It's drawn from her own experiences and Julia describes it as a "compilation and distillation of important facts and a comprehensive guide for patients and those who love them."
That's it for this week. I wish you a restful weekend and, for our Canadian readers, Happy Thanksgiving!
Cheers -- Joe Brancatelli
