ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Julia grew up in Greenwich, CT. For years, she worked in the travel industry as a meeting planner which afforded her opportunities to visit many continents. Some of her favorite destinations are Positano, London, Paris and Santa Fe where she enjoys spontaneous exploration of the rich history of these old cities and towns.
Today, Julia lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she actively pursues health and wellness through running, roller blading and Pilates. She finds joy and meaning in interaction with the widows and orphans in the community; she is an exercise instructor for the elderly and supporter of 4Kids of South Florida, an organization that provides loving safe homes for children. Julia looks forward with great enthusiasm to her next project: a foundation to provide support to individuals with breast cancer who are struggling to meet their financial responsibilities. Proceeds from Breast Cancer-the notebook will help fund this initiative.
